The adjoining resorts of Kontokali and Gouvia lie within a sheltered lagoon just 8 klm from Corfu Town.
The lagoon, once a Venetian harbor, is now an international marina attracting yachts from all over Europe, giving the resorts a cosmopolitan
atmosphere. With a variety of shops, bars, restaurants, night clubs, Kontokali and Gouvia offer a broad range of activities for all ages.

The actual construction of the present Marina began in 1996. The first phase of development increased the capacity to 960 berths. The construction of four modern and luxurius WCs,the Fuel Station, the Super market, a restaurant, and the Public Servises building has already
been completed.The second phase, includes an Administration building, a swimming pool, a shoping center and other constructions.Today the Marina has matured to offer a level of facilities for yaghting and motor cruising enthusiast, that would be hard to surpass.
At the basic level the pontoon berths are suplied with electricity and fresh water.The fuel station, the Super market,the Laundry and the Coastguard and Hellenic Tourism Organization offices are ready to fulfil most of the customers needs. A great emphasis is given to the security with 24 hour security patrols guarding berhing areas and a private security company operating all the entrances.
